Ava McCollum is a senior in high school passionate about giving voices to and highlighting the inspiring stories of AAPI members. As a girl of mixed race in a world whose cultural divide is seemingly sharpening, navigating where she belongs has been, at times, challenging. After researching and dedicating time to exploring ways in which she can benefit the Asian community who has suffered at the hands of racism, broken systems, and the lack of justice, she found her voice. She intends to use BOS Coalition to give a platform to share the accomplishments of Asian Americans from a variety of professional industries.
